A true power-house of health benefits, chia seeds are small, black seeds packed with Fibre, Protein, Omegas and Antioxidants. They're also an excellent plant-based source of Iron and Calcium.


They have long been used as a digestive aid by ancient Aztecs and Mayans, by mixing them with water to create a gel-like texture before ingesting them.


Why not try to include a handful of chia seeds into your diet by

  • adding them to your porridge

  • make them into a pudding

  • use them in baked goods and as a vegan egg replacement

  • sprinkle on top of salads or yoghurt
